Job Summary
MIG Welder position responsible for assembling and welding components following written/verbal instructions and engineering drawings. Performs setup, fitting, and welding to meet department quality standards; detects and reports faulty operations or materials to supervisor; maintains a clean, orderly work area and adheres to safety regulations and 5S housekeeping. Cross-trains as needed and supports other duties as assigned; requires welding skill, familiarity with hand tools, and ability to interpret measurements and drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Welding skill and good knowledge of hand tools
- Requires the use of math and various measuring devices in interpreting and following written instructions and engineering drawings
