Job Summary
MIG Welder in Glencoe, Ontario manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include fabricating parts and assemblies using MIG welding on carbon steel, reading drawings/blueprints/weld symbols to specification, fitting, aligning, and welding assemblies using fixtures and measuring tools, inspecting weld quality and dimensional accuracy, setting up and maintaining welding equipment, and maintaining an organized work area to support steady production flow. The ideal candidate has practical MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting, understands fabrication tolerances, and can work independently while contributing to the production team. Emphasis on safety, reliability, quality workmanship, and proactive problem spotting.
