Job Summary
Perform MIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. Examine welds for bead size and specifications, repair broken or cracked parts, and fill holes. Position and clamp workpieces in jigs or fixtures, selecting torches and filler rods per welding charts. Maintain all welding equipment and ensure proper weld size using gauges. Complete required weld tests and lift 50lbs. Apply to this 1st shift role Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates must pass a background and drug screen and meet ATF firearm requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass weld test
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- At least 5 years of MIG welding experience in a production environment
- At least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring material
- At least 5 years of experience using weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances
- Forklift certification
- Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen
- Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession
