Job Summary
MIG Welder/Fabricator responsible for measuring, comparing, and performing shop calculations to ensure adherence to engineering or sales specifications. Responsibilities include material fit-ups and layouts with steel, performing MIG welding as part of a team, positioning and securing workpieces, inspecting products for defects, sanding/grinding, breaking out steel, bolt-together steel panel assembly, and ensuring overall workmanship aligns with blueprints and specifications. Must read blueprints, operate power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively in English; HS diploma and welding certification/diploma required, with MIG welding experience. Transportation reliability and equal opportunity employment observed.
