Job Summary
MIG Welder - Aluminum with focus on welding and assembling steel/aluminum components. Responsibilities include planning layouts, selecting equipment, assembling components, laying out, positioning, and aligning parts, welding parts using MIG processes, and ensuring finished assemblies are secured with bolts, clamps, tack-welding, and riveting. Role involves dismantling and repairing products as needed, assisting with additional tasks to meet deadlines, and performing physically demanding work including lifting 50–100 lbs. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Colorado Springs, CO location. Must pass weld test, background check, and drug test.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional welding experience
- MIG steel welding experience
- Must pass a weld test, background check, and drug test
- Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 – 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead
