Job Summary
Midwife (Nurse Midwife) sought for obstetrics/gynecology coverage in Bellingham, WA. Responsibilities include assisting vaginal deliveries and C-sections, triaging laboring patients, managing labor induction, performing FSE and IUPC placements, vaginal laceration repair, and providing OB/GYN services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Requires Washington license in hand, CNM credentials, BLS certification, and EPIC EMR experience. Schedule: 3x24-hour shifts (07:00–07:00) with 6-month assignment window; duties include rounding admissions and collaborating with other providers. Travel and lodging provided if needed; malpractice coverage provided. Dates needed: mid-June 2026 through December 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Washington license required at time of present for Nurse Midwife privileges
- Nurse Midwife credential (CNM)
- APC eligibility (Nurse Midwife)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Experience with obstetrics/gynecology services and scope of privileges (vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage, inductions, IUPC placement, FSE placement, vaginal laceration repair Grades 1-2)
- EMR: EPIC experience
- Ability to provide obstetrics/gynecology services within inpatient/outpatient settings
- Licensure in the state of Washington in good standing
- Documentation of obstetrics/gynecology case experience within last 24 months
