Job Summary
Design and lead research studies from planning to reporting. Define methods and prepare protocols, surveys, and guides. Align with stakeholders on goals, scope, and timelines. Collect and analyze data using reliable approaches. Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights. Present results and updates in a clear, engaging way. You’ll work alongside designers, developers, and fellow researchers to ensure games are fun, intuitive, and engaging. Location is Stockholm, Sweden, with a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll contribute to developing the User Research methodology and testing environment as part of Paradox Interactive’s efforts to build a strong UR team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with user research, service design, experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, human-computer interaction, or equivalent
- Qualitative research methods: playtesting, interviews, surveys, focus groups, diary studies
- Experience in Quantitative Research
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
- 2-3 years relevant experience in games industry
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology or related fields
