Job Summary
Architect and administer mid-tier infrastructure at PL ALTESS, including installing, configuring Application and Web Servers, Portals, and associated software products across LINUX, UNIX, and Windows environments. Maintain deployed systems to meet availability and performance standards while developing security standards that ensure compliance with ALTESS and ARMY requirements, including Cyber Command STIGs processes. Schedule deployment activities, manage new installations, and develop monitoring dashboards to enable proactive system management. Document Security Readiness Review findings in Plan of Action and Milestones. Requires Active DoD Secret Clearance, three years of Application Server architecture experience, and knowledge of Java, C#, and web services. Salary range $100,000.00 - $140,000.00.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in Computer Science or IT
- Minimum three years' experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache Tomcat (TOMCAT), Apache, Java, WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar class server systems
- Knowledge of Web Services, both Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Representational State Transfer (REST)
- Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML)
- Must possess a familiarity of the Java or C# programming languages to assist developers in debugging applications
- Knowledge of UNIX and Windows administrations skills

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Document Type Definition (DTD), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), Xerces and Xalan
- Knowledge of the Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and the SQL Server RDBMS
- Knowledge of Python and PowerShell
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IAVM
