Middleware Engineer

Manage the full lifecycle of services from inception through deployment, operation, and refinement. Analyze ITSM activities to provide feedback loops on operational gaps and resiliency concerns. Support pre-launch activities including system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and system health with automated alerts. Scale systems sustainably via automation and drive reliability improvements. Execute detailed post-mortems and optimize mean time to recover during production events. Requires mandatory IBM MQ or RabbitMQ experience, Linux, ITIL, and CI/CD skills. Based in Dublin with up to two office visits weekly.
