Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain reliable software while analyzing requirements to independently set up tasks' acceptance criteria. Evaluate and coordinate task deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager, applying best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality, performant code. Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications, while participating as a trainer or trainee in learning programs outside the main project. This on-site role at ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office involves three days in Buenos Aires and two days remotely. The team supports a Japan-based automotive company specializing in vehicle design, manufacturing, and sales.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with Java
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Experience with testing (Unit Test, Integration Test, and System Test), including test case creation and execution for Java applications
- Experience with GitLab for source control and development workflows
- Strong focus on quality and cooperation in testing
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- 3 days a week and 2 days remotely
- based in Buenos Aires
