Job Summary
Teach Spanish and French to middle school students, igniting interest in world languages and cultures. Function as an advisor to middle school students, contribute to school life through coaching or activities outside the classroom, collaborate with colleagues to integrate World Languages across curricula, participate in school activities, and engage in ongoing professional development. Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience teaching World Languages; proficiency with technology (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office); strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; willingness to participate in school mission and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in World Languages or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching, preferably in a Middle School
- Experience teaching Spanish and/or French
- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Apps/Email)
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues across divisions and participate in school activities
- Background check with fingerprints as required by agency/state regulations
- Willingness to integrate technology into the curriculum
