Job Summary
Conduct daily volleyball practices and games while supervising assistants and assigning duties. Promote positive sportsmanship and adhere to MHSAA rules and Board of Education policies. Maintain player conduct and well-being through proper supervision, ensuring athletes meet eligibility requirements. Submit all required reports accurately and promptly. Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained, reporting needs to the Athletic Director or Administration. Serve as a positive role model with strong leadership and communication skills, working effectively with players, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with all audiences
- Evidence of strong leadership ability
- CPR certification & first aid training
- Understanding of Volleyball rules and regulations
- Possesses a strong value system
- Ability to work effectively with others: players, parents, teachers, administrators, patrons, and assistants
- Is an effective organizer and planner
- Demonstrates patience and understanding in stressful situations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Coaching Experience preferred
