Job Summary
Assist 6th-10th grade students with homework in math through algebra 2, reading/writing, and organizational skills. Check grades and school portals to keep students on track while acting as a role model and mentor toward academic success. Deliver virtual sessions from a clean, professional background, working 5-10 hours weekly between 3-9pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-9pm on weekends. Start late August for the 2026/27 school year. Required Qualifications
- Ability to tutor most middle school and early high school subject areas: math (algebra 1, geometry or algebra 2), science (physical science or higher), reading/writing, and history
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Good study habits and organizational skills as evidenced by college transcripts
- Able to work effectively in a virtual environment and have access to a clean, professional background for virtual sessions
