Job Summary
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with school curriculum and state standards while creating a structured, supportive classroom environment. Monitor and evaluate student learning, communicate regularly with families, and maintain accurate records of performance. Participate in team planning, coaching, and professional development to reflect on data and improve instructional practices. Support school routines and contribute positively to the community. The school day runs from 6:50 AM – 2:30 PM, with one day extending to 4:00 PM for collaboration. Benefits become available after 40 completed school days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State teaching certification or eligibility for certification
- Bachelors degree in a related field
