Job Summary
Support a safe, positive teaching and learning environment for middle school students in a special education setting. Assist in implementing the Individual Education Plan (IEP), maintain confidentiality around student programming, and support physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Build positive relationships with students, communicate regularly with teachers and staff, uphold ethical/professional standards, and collaborate with the school team to ensure best practices and supports. Participate in professional learning opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 completed references
- Adhering to the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and maintaining confidentiality regarding student educational programming
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other staff
- Supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students
- Assisting in the physical and intellectual development of students
