Job Summary
Middle School Special Education Math Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Responsibilities include developing and administering a mathematics curriculum aligned to district goals, creating lesson plans and instructional materials, teaching mathematics concepts (including real and imaginary numbers, formulas, calculus, geometry), promoting differentiated instruction, managing a safe classroom conducive to individual and small-group instruction, ongoing assessment and tailoring instruction to student needs (including students with disabilities), maintaining records and communicating with parents, collaborating with staff, and staying current with state standards and district procedures.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey State Certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher
- New Jersey State Certification Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped
- Bachelor’s or higher in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
