Job Summary
Design lessons aligned to grade-level standards and end-of-year assessments while managing classroom routines to maintain instructional time. Provide feedback to scholars through scaffolded follow-up questions that affirm understanding, clarify misconceptions, and extend thinking. Inspire students to achieve goals through effort and prepare them to solve complex problems with no obvious answers. Collaborate with a team of teachers within the school and network community to implement the Vision of Teaching Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- A BA or BS
- A strong background in and command of content area
- Louisiana Teacher Certification Completed or in progress (or be eligible to hold for our out-of-state applicants)
