Middle School Science Teacher for 7th grade at Young Scholars Charter School in Philadelphia. Plan and provide excellent instruction, develop detailed lesson plans aligned to state standards, differentiate learning opportunities, set clear expectations for student engagement, and collaborate with other teachers to raise student achievement. Engage families through school-wide activities, contribute to planning with content teams, and participate in ongoing coaching and professional development. The role involves 125-165 minutes of daily prep time, regular instructional coaching, project-based learning, and use of technology in classrooms (e.g., Chromebooks). Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field and PA teacher certification within the first year (completed by the second year).
