Job Summary
Middle School Science Teacher focused on NGSS-aligned, interdisciplinary science instruction for urban middle school students. Responsibilities include delivering inquiry-based lessons across climate and Earth systems, matter/energy transformations, electricity and magnetism, and ecological systems; fostering student discourse, data analysis, modeling, explanations, and interactive labs; collaborating with instructional coaches and grade-level teams to set academic goals; differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs; and building positive relationships with students and families while engaging in ongoing professional development and school-wide meetings. Requires a bachelor’s degree and NJ certification eligibility with a commitment to becoming certified, plus experience or demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools. Required Qualifications
