Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • MA educator’s license or pass required MTEL(s) including Communications and Literacy MTEL, Subject Specific MTEL, and MTEL SEI Endorsement within first year
  • SEI endorsement for teachers of English learners within first year
  • Academic expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
  • If hired, pass state teacher certification tests to meet MA requirements
  • 1-2 years experience in urban schools (preferred)
  • Ability to teach NGSS-aligned interdisciplinary science curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and analyze student data
  • Professional collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Commitment to social-emotional and academic development of students
