Middle School Science Teacher

Deliver instruction in middle school science with adherence to North Carolina standards; prepare daily lesson plans to ensure achievement of educational goals; manage student behavior and create a conducive learning environment; perform duties such as bus, cafeteria, playground, and extracurricular supervision; participate in staff meetings and committees; respond promptly to parent inquiries and maintain professional documentation; comply with Board Policies and supervisor directives; coordinate with teacher assistants as applicable; ensure emergency lesson plans are available for planned or unexpected absences; uphold professional standards of conduct and performance, with potential for contract non-renewal if standards are not met.
