Job Summary
Conduct Science Olympiad coaching for middle school students, fostering skills in creation, teamwork, and exploration while maintaining cooperative relationships with students, staff, parents, and the general public. Establish effective communication between team members and supervise student activities, ensuring confidentiality is exhibited throughout. Provide a foundation for integrity, pride of accomplishment, sportsmanship, self-discipline, goal setting, and self-confidence. Start mid-October with a total stipend of $2,200; reports to the MS Principal.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in the areas of science, science competitions, working with students
