Job Summary
Lead as Principal of W.H. Kirk Middle School with instructional leadership and administrative oversight; drive a rigorous, equitable educational program focused on student achievement, social-emotional growth, and high school readiness; oversee staff supervision, curriculum alignment to Ohio Learning Standards, scheduling, and engagement with families and community partners; collaborate with district leadership to support career-technical education, college readiness, and workforce pathways; manage building operations, safety, and district policy compliance; foster professional growth and a positive school climate in a diverse urban setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Educational Administration or related field
- Valid Ohio Principal or Administrative License
- Meet all requirements of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce
- Successful completion of BCI and FBI background checks
- Meet all health requirements mandated by law
- Possession of a valid Ohio motor vehicle operator's license
- Demonstrated experience in secondary education leadership preferred
