Job Summary
Provide daily math tutoring to your assigned caseload of middle or high school students across multiple class periods using Saga's proprietary curriculum. Develop lesson plans, manage student data to differentiate instruction, and maintain attendance records while monitoring academic progress. Serve as an advocate and mentor by building strong relationships with students, teachers, and the community, and communicate regularly with parents via email, text, or phone. Navigate technology, troubleshoot issues, and respond to daily emails and Slack messages. Participate in weekly observations, feedback sessions, and professional development led by your Instructional Program Manager. Engage with other assigned duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- You are authorized to work in the United States and reside within the U.S. (50 states) during the background screening, onboarding processes, and while you work as a Tutor with Saga.
- You are age 18 or over with a high school diploma or GED
- You must clear a Criminal History Check and all other security and health requirements set forth by Saga Education and the school district in which you serve before the start of training
