Job Summary
Middle School Math Teacher needed to join Uncommon Schools’ urban K-12 network. Responsibilities include delivering CCSS-based middle school math instruction, using in-house curriculum, and employing culturally responsive problem-solving to engage students. Collaborate with grade-level teams to set academic goals, analyze student work trends with the principal or instructional coach, differentiate instruction for all learners, build positive relationships with students and families, participate in weekly school-wide meetings, and engage in practice-based professional development, mentorship, and coaching. Requires a bachelor’s degree and NJ certification eligibility; compensation ranges from $56,000 to $80,000 with comprehensive benefits. All instructional staff must obtain NJ certification within a reasonable period after starting employment.
