Job Summary
Middle School Math teachers at Uncommon Schools will teach foundational middle school mathematics, use an in-house CCSS-based curriculum, differentiate instruction, and foster a love of math. Responsibilities include data analysis with principals/coaches, fostering student and family relationships, participating in weekly meetings and professional development, and collaborating with grade-level teams to set and pursue academic goals. The role emphasizes developing students’ problem-solving skills, instructional leadership, and engagement in a culturally responsive learning environment. Qualifications include a demonstrated commitment to student development, 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, and a bachelor’s degree with NJ certification eligibility;teacher certification within NJ is required after hire. Required Qualifications
