Job Summary
Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned Math 1 and Math 2 lessons covering linear relationships, functions, systems of equations, and data analysis. Use diverse instructional strategies to support varied learners, regularly assess understanding, and adjust teaching based on formative and summative data. Implement intervention and enrichment strategies while maintaining a structured, supportive classroom environment. Collaborate with instructional coaches, PLCs, and support staff, and communicate consistently with families regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Teaching License in Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of NC Math 1 standards
- Ability to differentiate instruction for varied learning levels
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to student growth and continuous professional learning
