MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHER

Plan, organize, and present instruction for middle school math, ensuring students have necessary materials and beginning lessons quickly to maximize time-on-task. Establish clear rules and procedures governing student behavior, verbal participation, and movement across whole-class, small group, and seat work activities. Monitor student performance by circulating during class, checking work products, and posing questions clearly while providing prompt feedback on both in-class and out-of-class assignments. Align instructional plans with system curricular goals, using diagnostic information to revise objectives and maintain accurate records of student progress. Treat all students fairly and interact effectively with co-workers, parents, and the community while carrying out assigned non-instructional duties and adhering to school policies.
