MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHER

Plan, organize, and present instruction in middle school math, ensuring materials are ready and students begin lessons quickly. Manage student behavior by enforcing established rules for participation and movement, monitoring progress during whole-class, small group, and seat work activities. Deliver lessons with clear objectives, relevant examples, and efficient transitions, providing prompt feedback on both in-class and out-of-class work to encourage growth. Circulate during class to check performance, pose questions clearly, and maintain high standards. Align instructional plans with system curricular goals, using diagnostic information to revise objectives and document student progress. Treat all students fairly while interacting effectively with co-workers, parents, and the community. Carry out assigned non-instructional duties, adhere to laws and policies, and follow professional development plans. North Carolina ESL K-12 licensure preferred.
