Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate in-person and remote learning experiences in middle school math, develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, assess student learning, adapt instruction for diverse learners (including IEP accommodations), supervise instructional aides, and maintain professional communication with parents and colleagues. Responsibilities include conducting ongoing assessments, planning remote learning activities, ensuring classroom safety and cybersecurity practices, selecting instructional materials, and participating in professional development to support student growth and district goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Texas teaching certificate or industry experience for local credentialing
- Demonstrated competency in the subject area assigned
