Job Summary
Provide diagnostic assessments and targeted math and reading instruction to students in Tier II and Tier III, promote effective classroom teaching practices to increase achievement in Tier I, lead SRBI team efforts, and support school improvement through data analysis, district assessments, and professional development. Prepare instructional plans and goals for caseload students, administer progress monitoring, and train interventionists; collaborate with Curriculum Coordinator and Building Principal to meet district goals and sustain high-quality instruction using technology for data collection and program evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT State Teaching Certificate
- Master’s Degree
- Successful experience as a classroom teacher
- Successful experience as a reading or math specialist preferred
