Middle School Math Aide

Job Summary
Part-Time Middle School Math Aide assists teachers with classroom management, grading, teaching, lesson preparation and general teacher and student support, and also handles carpool and lunchroom supervision. The role requires integrating faith-based principles, modeling and teaching the school's mission and values, participating in faith-centered activities, and supporting Christian character and spiritual mission through daily interactions. The aide will communicate and organize effectively, post assignments with clear instructions, maintain classroom routines, and monitor student progress, with a focus on middle school math through Algebra One.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required
- Aide should be comfortable teaching middle school math through Algebra One
- strong communication and classroom management skills
- experience preparing and delivering daily lesson plans
- experience establishing and communicating clear learning objectives
- ability to use a variety of pedagogical methods
- willingness to continue learning and growing professionally
- professional appearance and demeanor
- ambassador for the school's Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement
