Job Summary
Middle School Learning Support Teacher responsible for supporting Special Education students, maintaining IEP compliance, and delivering instruction aligned with diverse learner needs. Responsibilities include maintaining data on students’ daily progress, conducting FBAs and implementing PBSPs, providing appropriate instructional materials, utilizing behavior modification strategies, and promoting a collaborative educational atmosphere. The role requires effective communication with parents, ongoing planning to meet objectives, and demonstrated willingness to cooperate toward district goals. Preference for bilingual Spanish speakers.
Required Qualifications
- PA Special Education Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Experience working with special education students preferred
- FBI, PA Criminal Background and Child Abuse clearances
