Job Summary
Middle School History Teacher responsible for leading instruction, guiding student-led discourse, and developing student mastery through primary and secondary source analysis. You’ll teach an in-house curriculum emphasizing diverse histories, build an inclusive classroom, and collaborate with grade-level teams and families to support each student’s academic and social-emotional growth. The role includes participation in weekly meetings, ongoing professional development, and a strong emphasis on preparing students for college readiness. A bachelor’s degree is required, with MA state certification tests expected if hired; 1-2 years of urban-school experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
