Job Summary
Middle school girls basketball coach responsible for instructing athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training; develop character, self-discipline, and pride of accomplishment; assist with scheduling practices, supervise student conduct, ensure eligibility and transfer requirements are met, manage equipment and facilities, and maintain positive relations with media and supporters while supporting the head coach and athletic director.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to assist organizing and supervising a total sports program under the direction of the head coach.
- Ability to continue the sports program in the absence of the head coach.
- Possesses substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
- Serves as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
