Job Summary
Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned French lessons with clear objectives while establishing structured classroom environments and high behavioral expectations. Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs, monitor progress through formative and summative assessments, and collaborate with colleagues to analyze data and refine practices. Build respectful relationships with students and families, support learners with IEPs and 504 Plans, and engage in ongoing professional learning to improve outcomes. This role requires Massachusetts teaching licensure in French 5-12 and operates within Westwood Public Schools from August 31 to December 23, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts teaching licensure in French 5-12
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
