Job Summary
English/Language Arts educator for Middle School at Oak Hall School in Gainesville, FL, responsible for delivering five sections of Middle School English and/or Language Arts, developing confident writers and insightful readers, and guiding students through academic and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities include lesson planning, curriculum development and revision, effective classroom management, assessing and documenting student progress, maintaining records, collaborating with the English Department and school community, advising a group of students, sponsoring a club or activity, mentoring students, maintaining professional conduct, and participating in required meetings and professional development. Requires strong knowledge of literature, grammar, and technology integration, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth and alignment with the school's mission and policies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or post graduate work in English, secondary education, or closely related discipline is required
