Job Summary
Middle School ELA Teacher responsible for delivering a balanced program of instruction aligned with Archdiocese standards, differentiating instruction based on assessments, and planning lessons to meet diverse student needs. Duties include classroom management, maintaining a grade book, communicating with parents, conducting conferences, administering and analyzing assessments, and supporting Catholic identity through religion instruction and liturgical participation. Must obtain Maryland, Virginia, or DC certification within three years of hire. This on-site role is in Clinton, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Current teacher certification in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC (candidates have 3 years from hire to earn their certification)
- Knowledge of child development and supervision
- Experience teaching in an elementary school setting (preferred)
