Job Summary
Serve as the teacher of record for a middle-school ELA course in a fully online Ohio public school. Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference, complete course setup in the Learning Management System, monitor student progress in asynchronous courses, differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs, and maintain regular communication with families. Collaborate with the Principal to create Progress Reports, review student data to inform instructional adjustments, and participate in planning non-instructional activities. Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually; maintain compliance with state standards and ensure access to 21st-century technology in daily classroom practice.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
Desired Qualifications
- Two years’ teaching experience preferred
- Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
