Job Summary
Lead and manage school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), ensuring alignment with disciplinary guidelines and consistency across common spaces including arrival, dismissal, transitions, restrooms, lunch, and special events. Set and achieve annual culture and discipline goals using data to drive grade-level initiatives and improve behavior management strategies. Oversee implementation of PBIS while supporting and training teachers to apply protocols both within and outside the classroom. Collaborate with department chairs and counselors to manage Tier II and III student discipline, including family communication and record maintenance. Report directly to the Principal to ensure seamless execution of school-wide culture initiatives. This role supports a community-based charter school in central Brooklyn focused on social justice, equity, and preparing students for college and careers.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, with demonstrated success in managing adults and leading teams.
- A bachelor's degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
