Job Summary
Teach foundational dance techniques in Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, and Lyrical styles to 6th–8th grade students while designing age-appropriate lesson plans and choreography. Serve as a Christian role model by integrating spiritual values and mentorship into the classroom to foster self-expression and confidence. Maintain a supportive, safe, and structured environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks, preparing them for end-of-term showcases and school events.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation and teaching experience in Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, and Lyrical styles
- Demonstrated ability to connect with, engage, and inspire middle school students (ages 11–14)
- A strong, active personal faith in Jesus Christ
- desire to shepherd young hearts and help students grow in their spiritual walk
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Prior instructional or studio teaching experience with youth
