Job Summary
Middle School CTE Teacher specializing in Business/Computer Science. Responsible for developing lesson plans and instructional materials, employing effective teaching strategies, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learners, evaluating student progress with multiple assessment methods, and providing timely progress reports. Maintains classroom management, communicates with parents, upholds safety and district policies, and collaborates with staff to align instruction with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and Common Core standards. Requires strong knowledge of leadership in teaching, integration of technology, and the ability to support student development across cognitive, social, and ethical dimensions. NC Teaching License required or eligible for licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an approved education program in the subject area
- NC Teaching License in appropriate subject area or qualifications to obtain NC teaching license
