Job Summary
Provide students with engaging, standards-aligned instruction in the core academic subject area for middle school; develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum requirements; assess student achievement and use data to plan instructional activities; collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP; plan and supervise instructional aides/volunteers; foster a positive classroom environment and model professional behavior; maintain open communication with parents and the school community; participate in professional development and district-wide activities; ensure compliance with TEA guidelines, district policies, and safety procedures; lead extracurricular activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Experience: Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
