Job Summary
Middle School Chorus Teacher needed to plan and deliver engaging music instruction for grades 6–8, develop lesson plans, manage classrooms, assess student progress, communicate with families, and align instruction with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The role requires subject-matter expertise in chorus/music, strong classroom management, differentiation for diverse learners, collaboration with families and staff, and active participation in ongoing professional development. Bachelor’s degree and NC teaching license (or eligibility) are required; position is full-time, 10-month contract with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina Teaching license
- Bachelor’s Degree from an approved education program in the subject area
