Job Summary
Foster positive student relationships and implement differentiated lesson plans with fidelity to Vista's curriculum to help students achieve grade-level expectations. Teach and facilitate school-wide systems, engage in collaborative curriculum planning, and communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues. Review student data to address learning needs and hold all students accountable for content mastery while continually refining instructional practices. Participate in annual staff training to connect as a community and prepare for the coming school year. This role supports Vista College Prep's mission to empower all children to aim higher and go further through a unique educational experience grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Investment in Vista's mission, educational model, and belief in the potential of all students to achieve
- Mastery of and enthusiasm for teaching academic content
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
