Middle School Band

Develops and administers a music education curriculum aligned with district goals; creates a safe, inclusive classroom for individualized and small-group instruction; plans a balanced program with time for preparation, rehearsal, and performance; conducts ongoing assessment and adapts teaching methods for diverse learners, including those with special needs; utilizes a broad repertoire; coordinates rehearsals and directs students in performances outside the classroom; pursues ongoing professional growth; maintains accurate records of student activities, achievement, and attendance; fosters parental involvement and effective communication; upholds student conduct standards and collaborates with staff; selects and maintains music supplies and equipment; performs additional duties as assigned by administration.
