Job Summary
Middle School Assistant Principal Pool for Cincinnati Public Schools. Pool is established to identify and develop a pipeline of capable school leaders for current and future middle school vacancies. Assistant Principals serve as instructional leaders supporting student achievement, school culture, teacher development, and family engagement, collaborating with the principal and leadership team to create safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environments. Responsibilities include implementing district initiatives, data-driven school improvement, MTSS/PBIS fidelity, curriculum implementation, staff supervision and coaching, and fostering equitable opportunities for all students. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field and a valid Ohio Principal License or eligibility; prior classroom teaching experience and leadership experience are preferred. Salary placement based on experience; current range listed is $98,598.74 – $116,657.75 with respective CAAS Agreement. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field
- Valid Ohio Principal License required or evidence of eligibility
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Experience serving in leadership roles such as Teacher Leader, Department Chair, Instructional Coach, Administrative Intern, Dean, or Assistant Principal is preferred
- Experience working in diverse educational environments
- Experience coordinating extracurricular, athletic, enrichment, family engagement, or student leadership programs (preferred)
