Job Summary
Assistant Middle School Girls’ Basketball Coach to support the head coach in developing and implementing a program aligned with the school’s mission and values. Responsibilities include planning practices to enhance skill development, leading and mentoring student-athletes on and off the court, collaborating with administration, faculty, and parents to promote a positive athletic experience, and managing team logistics such as scheduling, equipment, and game-day operations. Requires experience coaching youth to early-adult basketball, strong leadership and communication skills, and a focus on character and personal growth. Availability to begin practices during the Middle School athletic block (starting at 1:40 p.m.). This is a non-faculty stipend role unless the candidate qualifies for one of our full-time positions. Demonstrated commitment to mission-driven leadership and to building meaningful relationships with students and families.
Required Qualifications
- Experience coaching youth, middle school, high school, or college basketball.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a student-centered environment emphasizing character and personal growth.
