Job Summary
Assist the head coach with overall team management, including recruitment of student athletes, coordination of practices, and monitoring academic progress. Prepare the team for competition using a variety of instructional techniques and media to improve student athletes' abilities. Assess players' skills, assign team positions, and determine game strategy based on the team's capabilities. This role is directly supervised by the Middle School Head Coach. Applications must include a resume and detailed summary of work addressing minimum qualifications, with a background check conducted on the final candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills
- Must possess some knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a coach is preferred
