Middle School Art Teacher (SY26/27) - Federal Campus

Design and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned visual arts curriculum and authentic performance tasks requiring scholars to create, revise, and publicly present original work. Establish clear success criteria using rubrics, exemplars, and critique protocols to ensure rigor and equitable access. Facilitate collaborative studio practices including peer critique, artist statements, and analysis of diverse exemplars while centering artists from historically marginalized communities. Differentiate instruction to support measurable growth for all scholars and assess learning through standards-based grading and public exhibitions. Collaborate with grade-level teams to ensure alignment and cross-curricular connections. Engage in continuous professional growth through coaching and data-driven curriculum refinement. Complete required CDE READ Act or CLD training within the first year, pass a background check, and demonstrate work eligibility in the United States.
